1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Arguium, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Arguium is a desktop AI assistant application that provides:
- Always-on-top AI chat interface
- Voice recording and transcription
- Screenshot capture and analysis
- Integration with multiple AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Ollama)
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of Arguium, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Free and Premium Plans
Free Plan
The free plan includes:
- 50 daily credits
- Access to all AI providers
- Basic features
Premium Plan
The Premium plan includes:
- 500 daily credits
- Priority support
- All features included
Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
You may use your own API keys from supported providers. When using BYOK mode:
- No credit limits apply
- You are responsible for costs with your provider
- Your data goes directly to your chosen provider
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Arguium to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Use the service for any fraudulent purpose
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
6. AI-Generated Content
Content generated by AI through Arguium:
- Is provided "as is" without warranties
- May contain errors or inaccuracies
- Should be reviewed before use in critical applications
- Is subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider
You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
7. Intellectual Property
Arguium and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Arguium and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create using Arguium, subject to the rights granted to AI providers for processing.
8. Payment Terms
For Premium subscriptions:
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time through the application
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arguium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Errors in AI-generated content
- Unauthorized access to your account
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Arguium is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of AI responses
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Any other reason we deem necessary
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Arguium after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
